The Translational Genomics Group of the INCLIVA health research institute (Valencia, Spain) is seeking candidates interested in applying for a 2 year postdoctoral award by the Spanish government (deadline February 24th). Eligible candidates must have obtained their PhD degree after September 2009. More information, in Spanish, can be found here http://www.boe.es/diario_boe/txt.php?id=BOE-A-2013-13832. Note that Spanish citizenship is not required. Potentially interested candidates are encouraged to contact Ruben Artero (ruben.artero@uv.es) urgently. Research interests of the group are: (1) discovery of inhibitors of HER2 dimerization, (2) drug discovery in Spinal Muscular Atrophy and (3) mechanisms of pathogenesis in Myotonic Dystrophy and exploration of therapeutic approaches. The group has a strong focus on translational research and maintains collaborations with biotechnology companies such as Valentia BioPharma and Instituto de Medicina Genómica at the Science Park of the University of Valencia.
